Bill Peters, MBA, CFP® (Inactive) (Retired) is the Founder of Peters Wealth Advisors.  Bill is a Baton Rouge native and alumnus of University High School and LSU.  Bill spent eleven years in the banking industry where he served as Vice President and Trust Officer at Louisiana National Bank.  In 1982, Bill saw a need for high-level asset and estate management services in the Baton Rouge area and established Peters Wealth Advisors in response.  Bill currently serves on the LSU Foundation Advisory Council.  He recently retired from the Mary Bird Perkins Foundation Board and as a Dunham School trustee.  Bill has served as Investment Committee Chair of the Rotary Foundation Board and Chairman of the 2008 Governor’s Prayer Breakfast. Bill and his wife Cherie are members of First Presbyterian.
